College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering (CCCE) was founded by the mergence of College of Chemistry Chemical Engineering and Institute of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology in October 2007. College of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering grew out of the Department of Textile Chemistry Engineering which was set up in 1951. Textile Chemistry and Dyeing & Finishing Engineering, renowned at home and abroad, is the national key discipline with an important influence. Institute of Biological Sciences and Biotechnology was established in October 2004 with the adoption of international oriented management and operational mechanism.
